Rock the Universe at Universal Orland Resort

Florida’s largest Christian music festival is Rock the Universe, an event that requires separate tickets and is held every winter at Universal Studios Florida. The celebration of faith, fun, and fellowship, which began in 1998, is marking its 25th anniversary this year.

With three stages, there are endless worship and musical experiences: The Coca-Cola FanZone Stage, the Hollywood Stage, and the Music Plaza Stage. Tauren Wells, Skillet, and Rend Collective are this year’s headliners on the Music Plaza Stage on Friday night. Bethel Music, Evan Craft, and Katy Nichole will all be performing on the Hollywood Stage on Friday night. On Saturday, Zach Williams, Matthew West, and Anne Wilson will headline the Music Plaza Stage. Dante Bowe, We Are Messengers, and CAIN are among the musical acts performing on Saturday night at Hollywood Stage.

Rock the Universe is a favorite among our musicians. This year, Bethel Music, Zach Williams, Tauren Wells, Skillet, Matthew West, and Rend Collective are all returning acts. Skillet, a rock band that was nominated for a GRAMMY in 2001, has performed at the event 11 times since. Newsboys, a Christian rock band, hold the record for most Rock the Universe appearances; They have performed twelve times.

This year’s headline acts have received a total of 14 Grammy Award nominations, as well as 74 GMA Dove Award nominations and 19 awards. The FanZone Stage presented by Coca-Cola, which is in the park’s New York section, will feature live performances by emerging artists as well as DJ Promote, who will perform on both nights. Ryan Ellis, Jordan St. Cyr, Gable Price & Friends, Ben Fuller, and Stephen Stanley are among the performers on this stage. After the live performances, the party will continue at the FanZone Stage with electronic dance music.

During the Coca-Cola FanZone Autograph Sessions, performers can be met by fans every night. Festival goers can also enjoy worship experiences outside of the main stage, like a powerful, non-denominational worship service on Sunday morning at 9:30 and 10:45 to end the weekend.

The worship service’s musical direction is provided by the Winter Garden, Florida-based Mosaic Church Band. Youth Leaders have access to lounges at Lombard’s Seafood Grille and the Pantages Theatre throughout the park, where they can unwind during the event.

During the event hours, Rock the Universe attendees have exclusive access to thrilling Universal Studios attractions. The Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit and the Transformers: The Ride – 3D and Retribution of the Mummy, to give some examples.

Rock the Universe is the event’s driving force, supporting ministries for youth groups.
